Meet John Cotten... With more than 25 years of home sales experience, John Cotten is known for his skillful negotiation, clear communication, and sincere, relationship-driven approach to real estate. He has a natural ability to make every client feel like family—a trait he credits to his small-town upbringing and the values that shaped him early on.
John’s work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit were evident long before his real estate career began. He launched and operated his own landscaping company in Austin, learning firsthand the importance of dedication, consistency, and client care. He later moved into sales roles with leading housing and brokerage companies throughout the 1990s and 2000s, gaining valuable industry insight and market knowledge along the way.
In 2007, John earned his broker’s license in Texas and expanded his expertise across resale homes, foreclosures, new construction, and investment properties. He represents both buyers and sellers and has built a strong referral-based business through years of trusted service and exceptional results.
John and his wife, Samantha, recently moved to beautiful Anacortes, Washington, where they’re excited to begin a new chapter—bringing their passion for real estate, community, and the Pacific Northwest lifestyle to their next adventure.
