As hard as Covid has been, there have also been some rays of sunshine that have come out of all of it. Remembering how amazing it is to support local businesses and growers has become more of a habit again, which I love. What better way to do that than to visit the Anacortes Farmers Market? Now through October 30, the Farmers Market runs every Saturday at The Depot from 9am - 2pm. The open air environment is perfect for being able to keep distance and enjoy our beautiful summer weather.
This time of year, summer fruits and vegetables are abound as well as yummy food trucks and live music. In the fall, the Anacortes Farmers Market will hold its 9th Annual Pie Festival on September 18. During the winter months, dates for the market are consolidated due to weather but you can still find loyal vendors and customers out and about - rain, shine or even snow!
