Celebrate Local Flavor at the Penn Cove 2026 Mussel Festival

The 2026 Penn Cove Mussel Festival is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 7–8, 2026, and will once again transform historic downtown Coupeville into a lively celebration of Penn Cove mussels, local food, music, and island culture.

📍 Festival Locations

Events and activities take place throughout downtown Coupeville, including:

  • Coupeville Waterfront

  • Coupeville Recreation Hall

  • Town Park

  • Local restaurants and businesses along Front Street

🗓 Dates & Times

  • Saturday, March 7, 2026: Approximately 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Sunday, March 8, 2026: Approximately 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

🚗 How to Get to Coupeville

Via the Mukilteo–Clinton Ferry

  1. Take I-5 to Exit 182 (WA-525 North) toward Mukilteo.

  2. Follow signs to the Mukilteo Ferry Terminal.

  3. Take the ferry to Clinton on Whidbey Island.

  4. From Clinton, drive north on SR-525, which becomes SR-20, for about 32 miles to Coupeville.

  5. Follow signs to downtown Coupeville and festival parking areas.

Via Deception Pass (No Ferry Required)

  1. Take I-5 to Exit 230 (WA-20 West) toward Anacortes.

  2. Follow SR-20 west across Deception Pass Bridge onto Whidbey Island.

  3. Continue south on SR-20 for approximately 20 miles to Coupeville.

  4. Follow signage to downtown Coupeville and public parking.
